Strike Activities Wed 5th & Fri 7th

Here are the plans:

Wed 5th July

  • Picket your school from 7am to 9am. Make it a carnival again!
  • Meet Outside Ealing Broadway Tube Station at 10am

We march and arrive at Parliament when Rishi Sunak starts Prime Minister’s Question Time. All the national mainstream media outlets  will be there (TV & Newspapers). We need the largest loudest demo possible.

We need all the MPs to here us chanting outside when Prime Minister’s QT starts. We want this to be the what the media focuses on.

Fri 7th July

  • Picket your school from 7am to 9am (Southall schools we may ask you to go Villiers High).
  • Go To Hanwell Community Centre Westcott Crescent W7 1PD for 9:45 to 10:45 :- Strike Breakfast plus 30 mins phoning members who haven’t voted yet. Especially support staff members.

The teachers ballot seems to be on track, the support staff ballot has only just started. We need to give it a boost. However the teacher ballot returns have slowed down to a tiny trickle.

So we need to do both. It is very important that we win the ballots. No ballots, then striking will have been for nothing. This is a dispute we will win. We need to win the ballots and shut our schools this week.
