Our 1st Ever Ealing NEU Meeting will be on Tues 4th Dec 5:30 pm H.C.C. W7 1PD

It will cover:

1. National Campaign & Ballot On Funding, Pay & Workload.

2. Local Rules Positions & AGM

There will be refreshments and food. There is free parking.

Balloting of members over funding, pay and workload is going well. We do though need all members eligible to vote to do so now, if we are to overcome the anti-trade union laws. There will be a full report of how our campaign is progressing.

Our first ever Ealing NEU General Meeting must decide the local rules, officer positions and the AGM. There have already been separate meetings of Ealing ATL and Ealing NUT where the proposed local rules and positions cited in those rules have been approved. This meeting is where they will be formally endorsed, unless alternative proposals are submitted by Nov 30th. National transition rules dictate that the AGM takes place at least 2 months after this meeting. It is proposed that the A.G.M. happens on the first possible Friday evening in a restaurant near the Broadway.
