London swept with Pride

Baker Street, Saturday 25th of June 2015, the roads were swarmed with thousands of people. They all gathered there to show solidarity with each other; they were there to march proudly hand in hand.

“No, to austerity!”

“No, to academies!” chanted some.

Yet, somewhere in the crowd, surrounded by couple of teachers, stood I mesmerized by it all. I, too, marched proudly with our banner along the roads of central London. The atmosphere was amazing!

Hopefully, next year all of us gathers there again to let our voices heard and to make a stand for a good cause, in a company of rainbow flags.
