Fifty years on from the 1967 Abortion Act, many women in the UK still struggle to access abortions because of cuts in health services, obstructions from medical staff or because the law was never extended to Northern Ireland.
Justine Greening is hinting that she might reduce the size of the cuts. We are confident that this Carnival if successful will help persaude her to reverse all of the cuts. It is supported by the NAHT ATL & NUT.
Campaigning can reverse the school funding cuts, please encourage colleagues to attend our General/Ctte meeting in the Walpole Room Ealing Town Hall next Tues 4th July at 5:30pm. Help us build the Carnival Against the Cuts on Sunday July 16th
We call upon all sides of the Gurdwara to stop using Khalsa Primary School as a prize in its internal elections. The school’s purpose is to teach and prepare the pupils for the future, it must not be used for the vain glories and ambitions by some, often in the public eye, in Southall.
70 NUT Teachers at Dormers Wells High School say no to academisation because it is;
Bad for Grades
Bad for Special Educational needs
Bad for Staff
Bad for the Community
Parents should have their say & vote
Check out our first great short video highlights of the Ealing Education debate. There are similarities with the national leaders’ debate!
I have consulted with prospective parliamentary candidates/agents for this constituency. We have agreed this is a local and not a national campaign and so the Education Question Event will go ahead. This is the position of the national Political Parties involved. If the event was today I would have cancelled it as a mark of respect.
